HBO was at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis Thursday night filming their 24/7 documentary series on the NHL’s winter classic which will feature Philadelphia and the New York Rangers who were playing the Blues.

You can check out next week’s show which should have some clips of the Blues beating the Rangers 4-1. The Blues are 12-2-3 since they hired Ken Hitchcock as their coach and goalie Brian Elliott picked up his 13th win and he leads the NHL in goals-against average (1.43)

Alexander Steen, who had a goal and an assist said, “We’ve done a good job of focusing on our game. We’re taking the next step as we go along and we’re getting better and more confident. There’s definitely work to still be done. We can always improve and I think that’s what’s driving the guys right now. We’re feeling pretty good.”

Patrik Berglund, David Perron and Jason Arnott also scored for the Blues.
