The state’s utility regulating agency is back at full strength with the appointment of former state senator Steve Stoll to the Public Service Commission. Stoll replaces commissioner Robert Clayton, who was appointed to an appeals court judgeship in July.
Stoll was in the House for three terms and served two terms in the Senate. He’s been the city administrator in Festus since leaving the senate.
