A dead child has been found near the home of Tyler Dasher, whom police declared an AMBER Alert for a missing toddler in the St. Louis area. Police have not confirmed whether it is the body of the 18-month-old from Affton.

Tyler Dasher’s mother says she put her son to bed last night, awakening late this morning to find the child missing.
Dasher is described as a blond-haired, blue-eyed boy with a red birthmark on his left shoulder.
He was wearing pajamas with trucks on him, and had a blue blanket in his crib.
Witnesses apparently told police they saw a man in the area earlier today, carrying a child wrapped in a similar blanket.
Anyone with information is asked to contact St. Louis County Police immediately.
