It’s been almost two months since an EF-2 tornado touched down in Sedalia.

Dave Clippert, of the director of the Pettis County Emergency Management Agency, says homes that were severely damaged have been stripped to the foundation as cleanup continues.

He says a mobile home park to the brunt of the storm, and most residents there had no insurance. He says looking at the devastation there, it’s remarkable there were no casualties. Clippert says it’s because residents had a good 30 minutes to take shelter.
