The doors have been locked and eviction proceedings are underway for a private, independent Catholic high school in St. Louis County. Barat Academy had about 250 students last year and graduated its first seniors in June. But two banks that had financed the school’s development say the school has not paid its rent. School officials say the school will reopen, somewhere, at the end of next month.
