Seven people on a flight from St. Louis to Florida have been killed in a plane crash near an airport in Alabama. The Federal Aviation Administration says all seven had been in St. Louis from a family reunion and were going back home to Niceville, Fla. Investigators say the pilot had reported engine trouble.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the death of a man from Fisk in the crash of his homemade lightweight aircraft. The plane piloted by Fisk resident Richard Bowie crashed in a farm field near Dudley.
