Lorenzo Williams talks to kids at his 2010 football camp

Former Missouri Tiger football stars Danario Alexander, Sean Weatherspoon and Jeremy Maclin have been working out together waiting out the NFL lockout, but this week the three will join former defensive lineman Lorenzo Williams for his charity golf event this week in Springfield. On Friday, Williams is hosting a celebrity pro-am golf tournament, followed by his youth football camp Saturday and autograph session with NFL players Saturday night.

In July 2010, Lorenzo Williams and friends joined together to raise funds for local children’s charities. Through “The Zo” benefit golf tournament and the “Lorenzo Williams & Friends Football Camp”, more than $25,000 was raised. In 2011, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals will be the beneficiary of your support. Each year, more than 100,000 local children benefit from the services of the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. 100% of these funds will stay local to benefit children.

Expected to help at the football camp this year, former Tigers Jeremy Maclin (Philadelphia Eagles), Brad Smith (New York Jets), Sean Weatherspoon (Atlanta Falcons), Martin Rucker (Dallas Cowboys), William Moore (Atlanta Falcons), Danario Alexander (St. Louis Rams), Chase Daniel (New Orleans Saints), Atyyiah Ellison (New England Patriots), CJ Mosely (Jacksonville Jaguars), projected first-round draft pick Aldon Smith, and others.
