The Royals start a 9 game road trip with a win as they beat the LA Angels last night 4-2. Melky Cabrerra and Billy Butler would each hit a home run for KC.
Former first round draft pick Mike Moustakas made his major league debut by going 1-3.
Jeff Francis picked up the win by giving up just two runs over 6 innings. He would also have three strike outs. It was his first road win since July of 2010. Francis is now 3-6 on the season.
Game two of the series is tonight as Felipe Paulino will get his third start of the season for Kansas City. Former Cardinal Joel Pinero will take the hill for the Angels.
