Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are giving half a million dollars towards rebuilding efforts in Joplin. The money is going to the Joplin Recover Fund, managed by the Community Foundation of the Ozarks.
Jolie says disasters normally seem far away, but this one hurts people here at home. Pitt is a native of Springfield and spent much of childhood in Joplin. He says says his C-F-O is working shoulder to shoulder with folks from Joplin to rebuild their lives and he hopes the money helps.
