The owner of Mexican restaurants in six Missouri cities admits in federal court he filed false tax returns. The federal prosecutor says Ismael Onate owned restaurants in Warrensburg, Mexico, Kirksville, Moberly, Hannibal, and Wentzville.
The manager of the Warrensburg restaurant, Javier Posada, pleaded guilty las month. The two men owe the Internal Revenue Service more than $380,000. Each faces up to five years in prison.
