Cardinals pitcher Jaime Garcia pitched a complete game two hit shutout, while walking one and striking out eight as the lefty moves to 4-0 following the Cardinals 6-0 shutout of the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday night.

In fact, Garcia carried a perfect game into the eighth inning. “This is definitely one of the greatest days of my short career,” Garcia said. “It was real exciting out there.”

Yadier Molina led off the fourth inning with his second homer of the season. Albert Pujols was 1 for 3, with a single, sacrifice fly and three RBIs for the Cardinals. Matt Holliday extended his hitting streak to 12 games.  Lance Berkman had a scheduled night off and was just 3 for 27 lifetime against Randy Wolf.

Wolf (3-3) entered with an 0.65 ERA his previous four games but gave up six runs in five innings while hitting three batters.
