A hunting miscommunication has led to a turkey hunter in Southwest Missouri being shot in the head.
Authorities say two different hunting parties went hunting on private land without notifying each other. One hunter saw something red, which he thought was a turkey’s head. It was really a logo on another hunter’s jacket. That hunter was shot in the neck and face.
His injuries are said to be non life threatening.
