Saying on her Twitter feed, “A goal and a dream come true- I’m a 2011 Raiderette! I’m so excited to rep an organization that does so much good,” Bianca, the daughter of Cardinals’ manager Tony LaRussa made the team’s cheerleading squad.

LaRussa makes his home in the offseason by the Bay area in Alamo and they run their Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) in the area.

The Raiders moved back to Oakland from Los Angeles in 1995, in Tony’s 10th and final season as the A’s manager. He led Oakland to three straight World Series appearances, including winning a World Series title in 1989 by sweeping the Giants.
