The United States Attorney’s Office says Aaron Johnson has pleaded guilty to threatening to blow up an IRS facility in South St. Louis.

Johnson admitted to one count of Threatened Use of an Explosive Device. Specifically, Johnson admitted to calling the IRS Lockbox facility on South Kingshighway on April 14, 2010 and threatening to “blow it up.”

The maximum penalty for the Threatened Use of an Explosive Device at a federal facility is ten years imprisonment, a fine of $250,000 or both. Sentencing is set for for July 18.
