The Royals won their fourth straight game, their sixth of their last seven and stand 10-4 at the top of the American League Central, tied with the Cleveland Indians after a 7-0 win Saturday afternoon.

Sean O’Sullivan, Tim Collins, Jeremy Jeffress and Aaron Crow combined on the seven hit shutout while Alex Gordon led the offensive charge with three hits. Gordon has a 10-game hitting streak.

Just like yesterday, Gordon and Billy Butler delivered clutch back to back hits. With the score 2-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Gordon hit a two out double to score Chris Getz who singled with two and Alcides Escobar who reached on an error. Butler followed up with a single to score Gordon.

The Royals tacked on two more runs in the bottom of the eighth. O’Sullivan was making his first start of the season. He was picked as a long reliever, but got the call after the team decided to keep Vin Mazzaro (named the fifth starter) at AAA.
