The Department of Natural Resources is turning to fake coyotes to keep geese away from public beaches at the Lake of the Ozarks. DNR thinks goose droppings are causing elevated levels of e-coli bacteria, causing the department to close the beaches from time to time. The department has installed some coyote decoys at the beaches, hoping to scare away the geese.
