The couple that ran the Anderson Guest House, the group home that burned a few years ago, have been sentenced for healthcare fraud. Robert and LaVerne DuPont ran five long-term residential care facilities in southwest Missouri at one time.
Robert Dupont gets five years in prison without parole. He’s 66. Laverne, who is 75, gets five years of probation.
Their daughter, who had been excluded from receiving federal payments to cover her salary while working for her parents, pleaded guilty last year and was put on probation for three years.
