Missouri’s unemployment rate drops three-tenths of a point … to its lowest rate in two years. The state labor department pegs the March rate at 9.1 percent and says Missouri gained 24,000 jobs last month. The metro areas provided most of that growth – 13,000 jobs in the St. Louis area and 13,000 in the Kansas City region. Construction, retail trades, and leisure and hospitality fields accounted for most of the growth.
