A report in St. Louis says Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder has billed the state for almost 400 nights of stays in hotels in St. Louis, Kansas City, and Springfield. The St.Louis Post-Dispatch says his hotel bills in St. Louis alone are for more than $35,000 dollars.
The newspaper says kinder has listed no official reasons on his expense reports for his stays at the hotels. Kinder’s office has given the newspaper statement saying Kinder might schedule personal events around those linked to his duties as lieutenant governor.
