The Royals claimed the Cactus League title after a 3-2 victory over the Chicago White Sox at Surprise Stadium. The Royals finished 20-10-1 by winning their last six spring games.

The White Sox took a 1-0 lead on Adam Dunn’s two-out homer in the first inning, but the Royals scored three in the second with help on a two run homer by Brayan Peña.

Lefty starter Bruce Chen gave up one run and four hits in five innings. Jeremy Jeffress allowed one run in the sixth, but Aaron Crow, Tim Collins and Kanekoa Texeira held the Sox scoreless over the final three innings.

The Royals hope to get on the field at Kaufmann today, before Thursday’s season opener against Los Angeles. If you are heading to the game tomorrow, the Royals are offering some alternate routes to get to the park.
