The No. 13 Missouri Tigers won their 23rd straight game after completing a sweep of Texas Tech, in Lubbock, with a 10-1 on Sunday that followed a 4-0 win on Saturday to open the first week of Big 12 play.

The Tigers hit four home runs gave plenty of offense to Chelsea Thomas who was two outs away from a no hitter, as Mizzou completedbeat No. 19 Texas Tech. Thomas went 5.1 innings with one run allowed on one hit. She struck out 10 batters and walked none while improving to 12-2 on the season.

On Saturday, Redshirt sophomore Chelsea Thomas won her 11th consecutive decision to improve to 11-2 on the year. The righty struck out seven while walking zero. She allowed one run and scattered just three hits.

The Tigers are now 26-3 on the season and 4-0 in the conference after winning their 23rd consecutive game. Missouri continues their Texas road trip with a doubleheader against North Texas on Wednesday. Game one begins at 4 p.m. CT in Denton, Texas.
