Kansas City is one of five cities in the nation involved in a pilot project to cut down on the amount of junk mail people get. The Keep Kansas City Beautiful Foundation is working with a nonprofit company called Catalog Choice. It offers a free service that lets consumers opt out of certain kinds of mail.
