The Missouri Tigers were eliminated from the Big 12 Tournament losing to the Texas A & M Aggies 86-71 on Thursday night at the Sprint Center in Kansas City.

A & M started hot and just never slowed the entire game, finishing the night with 58% shooting and 61% in the first half.  David Loubeau and B.J. Holmes each finished with 20 leading three in double figures.

Mike Anderson postgame (3:17)

The Tigers started cold and never found a rhythm.  Mizzou missed 16 of their first 18 shots as A & M led by 13 at the break, 46-33 and the lead grew to as much as 22 midway through the second half.

A & M coach Mark Turgeon said Mizzou had a rough game against Tech last night and it seemed liked their shots were shorts, but he said his team played great defense and limited the fast break points off their 18 turnovers.

Marcus Denmon had 22 points on 6 of 11 shooting.  Laurence Bowers had 13 and Kim English 12.  The Tigers finished shooting 34% for the game
