A Kansas City Royals fan who claimed he suffered long-lasting eye injuries when hit by a flying hot dog has lost his lawsuit against the team.
A jury in Jackson County says the Royals were not responsible for the injuries suffered by John Coomer. Coomer was hit by one of several foil-wrapped hotdogs thrown into the stands by the Royals’ mascot.
