A Kansas City company is becoming one of the two biggest syndicators of newspaper comic strips. Universal Uclick is taking over the syndication of 150 comics that had been distributed by United Media. The Kansas City Star reports Universal Uclick already distributes strips such as Doonesbury, Garfield, and Ziggy. With the takeover from United Media it will add Pearls Before Swine, Get Fuzzy, Marmaduke, and others, plus the Miss Manners column on etiquette.
