A southwest Missouri man who two alcohol-related driving convictions on his record has been charged with manslaughter after a fatal traffic crash. The Highway Patrol says a car driven by Gregory Swaffar of Purdy crossed the center line and hit an oncoming car. A 10-year-old girl in the other car was killed. Swaffar has a DWI conviction from 2009 and pleaded guilty to driving with excessive blood-alcohol levels last August.
