Marcus Denmon scored 25 points to lead the 20th Missouri Tigers to a 76-70 win at Iowa State for its first Big 12 road win of the season. Laurence Bowers added 16 for the Tigers and Ricardo Ratliffe had 10. Mizzou is now 21-6, 7-5 Big 12.

It is their first win away from Mizzou Arena since the Braggin’ Rights game against Illnois at The Scott in St. Louis back in December.

Iowa State had the game tied at 58-58 with just over six minutes to play, but they never could take the lead as Mizzou led the entire game. After a timeout by Mike Anderson the Tigers responded and came up big at the free throw line.

Despite just having seven scholarship players in the game, Iowa State hung around after the Tigers got off to a 21-9 lead, the Cyclones cut the lead to two. A big spurt in the second half got Missouri back up with just over eleven minutes to play.

Missouri shot 49% for the game, but was just 3 of 13 from three point range.
