The Missouri Tigers host Texas Tech Tuesday night at 6 p.m. at Mizzou Arena as MU goes for their 16th win of the season. The Tigers are the only Big 12 team to remain unbeaten at home.
Junior guards Marcus Denmon and Kim English are closing in on 1,000 career points as Missouri Tigers. English has 982 points in 96 career games, while Denmon has 986 points in 96 games as well. Denmon who took a Laurence Bowers elbow to the face on Saturday against Oklahoma should be available to play. Mike Anderson on the status of Denmon English meanwhile has struggled at times during the season. The last pair of Tiger juniors to top 1,000 career points in the same season were Arthur Johnson and Rickey Paulding in 2002-03 … English and Denmon will become the 41st and 42nd players in school history to top 1,000 points.
