Missouri State will travel to Valparaiso on Saturday, Feb. 19 as part of the eighth annual ESPN BracketBusters series. The Bears’ game is slated to tip at 4 p.m. (Central) on ESPN 2. Valpo is 16-6 overall and 8-2 in the Horizon League. The Bears (17-5, 9-2 MVC) are 4-3 all-time in the BracketBusters, including a 2-1 mark in road games and 2-3 record in games televised by ESPN in the event.
Missouri State leads the all-time series with the Crusaders, a former Mid-Continent Conference foe of the Bears, by a 14-3 margin.
Cuonzo Martin takes his team to Evansville on Wednesday at 7:05 p.m. in Missouri Valley Conference action. The Bears return home Saturday for a 2:05 p.m. start against Indiana State on Hall of Fame weekend.
