The southeast Missouri man whose undisclosed criminal record shot down a $10 million Cape Girardeau business development faces new charges. The Stoddard County prosecutor has charged weaver Dickerson with deceptive business practices. That charge goes with the prosecutor’s motion to revoke Dickerson’s probation because Dickerson lied about his company’s financial situation on a state loan application.

Revelations about Dickerson’s probation and other problems caused the state to withdraw more than $2 million dollars in state aid for the proposed $10 million project.
