A 16-year-old St. Louis boy who was shot and wounded by St. Louis police officers will stand trial as an adult on charges of assault on a law enforcement officer.

Police say Terence Cornell was a suspect in the robbery of a pizza delivery driver when officers approached his van he drove it toward them, rammed a police car, then got out and pointed a gun at officers. He suffered wounds in his hand and leg. A second man also was arrested. A third one got away.
