The latest version for Ballpark Village in St. Louis is for a 12 or 13-story building overlooking Busch Stadium with 100-thousand square feet of retail space, a plaza for concerts, and other features.
Developers say the whole thing will cost $155 million. They want $57 million in taxpayer subsidies.
St. Louis already has a high vacancy rate in office space.
