Missouri State (15-3, 7-0) got 27 points from Kyle Weems and 20 points from Will Creekmore to remain unbeaten in Missouri Valley Conference play here Sunday with a 78-67 victory over Bradley.

The Bears also got a game-high 11 rebounds from Creekmore who notched his sixth career double-double while matching a career high in scoring. MSU also got 11 points apiece from Nafis Ricks and Jermaine Mallett in the win, its ninth straight.

The Bears led by as many as 17 in the second half on a layup by Mallett at the 15:07 mark to make it 53-36. Bradley (6-12, 0-7), however, then reeled off 13 of the next 15 points to climb back within six and bring the crowd of 8,551 at Carver Arena back to life.

But, Missouri State had an answer, and responded with a baseline dunk by Weems and a layp by Ricks on its next two possessions to lead by double figures once more.

The Bears shot 59.3 percent from the field (32-of-54) and made 6-of-13 (.462) from beyond the arc, while out-rebounding the Braves 30-23.

Bradley got 21 points from Andrew Warren, while Dodie Dunson scored 15, and Walt Lemon, Jr., added 10. BU was 27-for-55 (.491) from the field and 5-of-10 (.500) beyond the arc.

MSU will travel to second-place Indiana State (11-7, 6-1) on Wednesday at 7:05 p.m.
