Ann Wagner has ended her bid to become Republican National Chairman, dropping out after the sixth ballot. She was never higher than third in the balloting, starting last on the first ballot and finishing last ont he last two rounds ofvoting.
She released her 17 remaining delegates but did not endorse any of the three remaining candidates. Incumbent chairman Michael Steele had dropped out after the third ballot and threw his support to Maria Cino. However his votes scattered to the other three candidates. None fell to Wagner.
