The conservation department says the final deer kill for the 20-10 and 20-11 season is more than 231,000 — that’s down about six percent from the 2009-2010 season.
But young hunters had their second-best deer kill ever. Hunters aged six through 15 killed 14,555 deer, about 500 fewer that last season’s record.
