Aldermen in the southwest Missouri town of Willard have issued a “no confidence” vote against Mayor Jamie Schoolcraft. Two weeks ago a state audit criticzed several parts of city finances. The no-confidence vote has no real impact on Schoolcraft’s continued service as Mayor. He says he’ll stay in office until a new mayor is elected next Spring.
