The state wants to expand the livestock arena at the state fairgrounds but can’t afford to do it itself … So the state development finance board is offering as much as $343,000 dollars in tax credits to a private developer who might want to do the project. The developer would have to sink twice that much money into the arena, which will be attached to the century-old livestock coliseum.
