As the St. Louis Rams prepare for their regular season finale at Seattle this Sunday night, with the NFC West crown up for grabs, they are preparing to face rarely used Charlie Whitehurst as the Seahawks starting quarterback.
In Seattle’s loss at Tampa, starter Matt Hasselbeck went down with a back/hip injury. He had a MRI done and their coach Pete Carroll kept a glimmer of hope that Hasselbeck may be able to start. If Whitehurst does start, it would be just his second career NFL start.
