Blues’ backup goalie Ty Conklin bounced back against the Chicago Blackhawks by making 25 saves in a 3-1 win for the Blues over the defending Stanley Cup Champs. The win is the Blues fourth straight and moves them into a tie for second place in the division with Chicago, who saw their four game win streak snapped.

The Hawks got to Conklin for seven goals in a game last month on 24 shots in a loss at Chicago on Nov. 30, but after a soft goal late in the first period off a turnover, Conklin settled in the rest of the night. He’s 3-0 at the Scott.

Vladimir Sobotka, Brad Boyes and Brad Winchester scored for the Blues, who dominated much of the way peppering Hawks’ goalie Marty Turco with 43 shots.
