Missouri’s biggest private practice neurosurgery group is being sold to southwest Missouri’s biggest hospital. Springfield Neurological and Spine Institute has nine neurosurgeons, three other doctors, and 68 other employees. They treat brain, nerve, and spinal disorders. The institute has worked closely with CoxHealth of Springfield, which is buying the institute with plans to build a special neurosurgery clinic.
