Tall attraction at Springfield Zoo is put down

The second oldest breeding giraffe in the nation has been put down at the Springfield Zoo. Stretch was almost 24 years old but he was having problems standing and sitting and had severe hip degeneration.

Stretch sired 23 offspring.
