The state has dropped its lawsuit against the former accountant for the Missouri Veteran’s Commission because she has paid back the money she embezzled. Ex-employee Stacy Griffin-Lowery has paid back more than $107,000.
She has been convicted in both state and federal courts. Each case required restitution. She has to do 200 hours of community service.
