The satellite television company DirecTV has settled an unfair sales practices suit with the state for $185,000. That’s Missouri’s share of a $13.2 million national settlement involving 48 other states and the District of Columbia. The money will pay restitution to customers.

The Attorney General’s office says any unresolved complaints sent to DirecTV or to the Attorney General after January 1st, 2007 are eligible for the restitution program. Consumers filing complaints before next June 9th might also be eligible.
