The Missouri Tiger basketball team will be without sophomore guard Michael Dixon indefinitely.  Coach Mike Anderson has suspended him for “violating team rules.”   Anderson did not specify which team rule or rules he violated.

Dixon has started all of the Tiger’s games as they have started the season 8-1.  He’s averaged 10.4 points per game.   The first game he’ll miss will be tomorrow’s game against Oral Roberts.

In a statement released by the athletic department, Anderson says, “We have high standards for how we expect our young men to carry themselves.  Michael didn’t meet those standards, therefore he is suspended indefinitely.”
