The air pollution lawsuit filed by Carthage residents against a turkey-parts processing plant has been resuscitated now that the plant’s owners plan to resume operations. The lawsuit had been shelved when the owners of the Renewable Environmental Solutions plant filed for bankruptcy protection in April, 2009 and shut down. A bankruptcy judge has allowed the lawsuit to proceed.
