The St. Louis County judge who has sentenced Lorenzo Wilson to two life terms in prison calls his crime “the most tragic, senseless crime I can think of” in his three decades on the bench.

Wilson, who is 19, had pleaded guilty last month to killing a woman who interrupted him while burglarizing her Creve Coeur home.
