Rams Rookie Sam Bradford had his first 300-yard game and threw three touchdown passes as the St. Louis Rams held off a late run by Denver with a 36-33 win Sunday. A 33-3 run by the Rams gave them a 20 point lead in the fourth quarter, but what looked like a for sure first win on the road got a little dicey.

The Broncos scored on the first play of the final quarter and pulled to 36-33 on Brandon Lloyd’s TD from Kyle Orton with 2:35 left. Rams linebacker Chris Chamberlain held onto Matt Prater’s onside kick, but the Rams were forced to punt and the Broncos had the ball with a chance to tie or win at their own 34 with 1:06 left.

The Rams came up with a sack, then Denver dropped a pass and missed another receiver. With the win, and thanks to the Chiefs win over Seattle, the Rams moved into a tie with the Seahawks for first place in the NFC West.

Bradford was 22 of 37 for 308 yards, three TDs and no interceptions in his first road win as a pro.
