Not so fast.

A new policy put in place for the St. Louis suburb of Crestwood has been suspended. The policy would prohibit political and religious groups from using the Crestwood government center meeting room. An objection was raised by the Gravois Township Republican Club, which has met there monthly for more than a decade. Aldermen responded by unanimously suspending the new policy until it can be studied.

A scheduled video viewing by the club prompted the policy change. The club showed the video “The Third Jihad” at its September meeting, a video that denounces radical Islam.
