The 2010 Show Me Bowl games to determine the state champions in Missouri high school football continue today at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis. Yesterday, champions were crowned in 8-Man, Class 1, Class 3 and Class 5.
In the 8-Man game, Mound City would beat St. Joseph Christian 46-24.
The Class 1 champion is Valle Catholic who would get by Westran, 22-21.
The Class 3 game would be a close one. Richmond would defeat John Burroughs by a final of 21-20.
Lee’s Summit West would have no trouble as it won the Class 5 title. They would beat Webster Groves, 44-21.
Today’s schedule will start with the Class 2 title game between two undefeated teams. 14-0 Maplewood out of Richmond Heights will take on 14-0 Penney. That game will kick off at noon.
Next will be the Class 4 championship game between 11-3 Warrenton and 14-0 Webb City. Kick off is scheduled for around 3:15 this afternoon.
The last Show Me Bowl game of the day will be for the Class 6 title. 13-0 Hazelwood Central will take on 13-0 Rockhurst. This game will kick off at 6:30.
