The number eight Central Missouri Mules are on the road tomorrow for their second round playoff game.  The Mules are in Abilene, Texas to take on the number two ranked Abilene Christian University Wildcats.

Last Saturday, the Mules football team made history, as they won their first playoff game ever at home.  Central Missouri routed number 14 West Texas A&M, 55-35.

The number two ranked Wildcats will be playing their first game of the playoffs, as they had a first round bye last week.  Abilene Christian won their last game of the regular season over Southwestern Oklahoma State, 47-17.

The Wildcats are the number one seed in Super Region 4 with a perfect 11-0 record. They won the Lone Star Conference South Division, and are making their fourth consecutive playoff appearance.

This is the first meeting between the Mules and the Wildcats, and only the second time Central Missouri is playing a school from the state of Texas since 1983 against Sam Houston State.

If Central Missouri wins, they would advance to play the winner of the Northwest Missouri-Texas A&M-Kingsville game next Saturday.

The Mules and the Wildcats will kick off tomorrow at noon.
